Cleaning, disinfection and preparing the wound bed

To reduce the time of wound healing at first the wound bed must be prepared.

Wound bed preparation is to increase the effectiveness of wound care products with accelerating wound healing and shorten the duration of treatment.

In order to properly prepare the wound bed, the following should be done:

Reduction of the volume of microorganisms in the wound bed
Removal of necrotic and sloughy tissue
Control exudates
Management of cell dysfunction and biochembcal imbalances

The ultimate goal of this operation is to ensure the formation of healthy granulation tissue, which ultimately leads to complete wound closure.

This solution is used for cleaning, disinfection and preparation of the bed in the following cases:

Traumatic wounds
Postoperative wounds
Chronic ulcers include: venous, diabetic, bedsores
First and second degree burns

Application:

Spray the Epimax U Plus solution completely on the wound and surrounding skin, thus reducing the risk of infection and creating conditions for effective debridement. To optimally remove the biofilm, it is necessary to repeat the use of this solution. Continuous and repeated use of this product prevents biofilm formation and re-infection.

Note: It is necessary to use Epimax U Plus until the wound heals.

To getting an effective result, it is better to use Epimax Wound Gel and Epimax Wound Gel X before applying the secondary dressing.

Containing betaine, reduce the surface tension of the biofilm on the wound, thus destruction of biofilm.
