Epimax S is an antiseptic and sterilizing based on hydrogen peroxide and is considered as the one of the best and suitable disinfectants due to its high level and food grade, and the other ingredients used in it. It is a disinfectant for the food industry, that will be less dangerous for consumers and industries, and have less damage to the environment.
Epimax S is a hydrogen peroxide solution which is stabilized by edible organic acids, and formulated and produced with the highest standards and quality to remove all viruses, bacteria, fungi and other microbial agents.
Hydrogen peroxide 45-50%
Edible organic acids
The spectrum of effect
Epimax S has the ability to remove many microorganisms based on the density of consumption and environmental conditions, and according to the FDA and EPA classifications, this compound is considered as the high-level compounds and has antiseptic, bactericidal, virucidal and fungicidal power.
Epimax S can be used as a specialized disinfectant for disinfecting and descaling in clean-in-place and cleaning out of place (CIP/COP) of all food and health industries as follows:
Removal of microbial layers (biofilm) in different food industries
Dairy industries (yogurt, milk, cheese, butter, buttermilk) and centers for milk production and collection
production industries of beverage (concentrate – fruit juice – mineral water – types of soft drinks)
Meat and protein industries (sausage and kielbasa)
Canning industries (sauce, tuna, ready meals)
Processing industries (centers for animal and poultry feed production, vegetables, dry and fresh vegetables, chips, pickles and vegetables…)
Food delivery trucks
Industrial and workshop refrigerators
Centers for production and packaging red meat, chicken, fish, shrimp, etc.
Centers for egg packaging
Centers for production of Glucose (with wheat or corn flour)
Factories for candy and chocolate

Note:
The number 1 (one) is one unit (CC or Lit) of Epimax S solution and the larger number (on the right) is the unit of water. The ratios stated in the above table are completely effective in standard and conventional conditions. The amount of Epimax S consumption is different and depending on the following: 1- The time the solution approaches the surface (-) 2- Microbial load (+) 3- Water hardness (+) 4- Ambient and water temperature (-). Prepare the diluted solution as needed and use it the same day.
The method of the effect for the Antimicrobial activity of
Due to its chemical decomposition in its environment, hydrogen peroxide shows different chemical activities. This activity removes all microbial forms.
Radicals released from hydrogen peroxide can attack membrane lipids, DNA and other cellular components of pathogens and also can inactivate microorganisms.
The unique formulation of Epimax S has brought several advantages over other disinfectants on the market and its previous generations, including the following:
Advantages of Epimax S
Specifications:
Comparison of Epimax S with aldehyde compounds (glutaraldehyde, formaldehyde):
Aldehydes stabilize the protein compounds of blood and tissue material and incompletely perform the cleaning process, while hydrogen peroxide removes proteins from surfaces well. The toxicity of aldehydes is high in terms of the environment and the residues in the environment, while peracetic acid does not have any toxic residues in the environment. Using aldehydes for a long period of time is carcinogenic and causes respiratory problems for consumers, while hydrogen peroxide does neither.
Comparison of Epimax S with quaternary ammonium compounds:
Quaternary ammonium compounds are categorized as the low-level disinfectants and are ineffective on mycobacteria, spores, and some viruses (uncoated). Their problem is that they are inactivated by organic materials. This means that before using the disinfectant, the equipment must be cleaned. However, they lose their disinfecting power quickly, while Epimax S is one of the high-level disinfectants and has an effective on all types of microbes.
Comparison of Epimax S with phenolic compounds:
They are categorized as a medium-level disinfectants, so they are ineffective on some forms of microbes, including spores. The phenol-based disinfectants and their derivatives are not suitable for the food industry. Because their smell lasts and is easily absorbed by food and causes unpleasant stains. Phenolic compounds are very toxic to the environment and their use has the restrictions of environment in the world. The density for the consumption of phenolic compounds is high and they have weaker effects.
Comparison of Epimax S with iodine compounds:
Color is one of the characteristics of iodine compounds that limits its use.
The density of these compounds is high and have limitations in terms of cost-effectiveness. Halogen and iodine compounds have many problems and they are very toxic.
Note:
The most reliable method to determine the concentration and effective time of using concentrated disinfectants will be obtained through tests to determine the microbial contamination of the surfaces used by the relevant specialists of that unit. The concentration and time of use can be different according to the degree of contamination of the used surface as well as the frequency and time of using the disinfectant.
Keeping conditions and safety:
The period of time for keeping Epimax S in suitable conditions is one year.
Keeping the product away from direct light and high temperature.
Keep the solution only in its original container.
Always use freshly prepared solution.
The concentrated solution is highly corrosive and avoid using it on metal surfaces and tools
It is better to keep it in a cool place (below 30 degrees Celsius) and with proper ventilation.
